The NE has also seen recent growth with the expansion of Calgary’s LRT system. Small business-owners in particular are seeing the communities in the NE as an attractive place to set up shop as more and more people are making the NE of Calgary their home. There are also new condominium and housing developments in the NE that rival the nicest projects anywhere in the city, as more developers are seeing the NE as a great place to expand and invest in.
